Levi Ski Resort was awarded the best ski resort in Finland in the international World Ski Awards poll for the second year in a row
Levi Ski Resort was once again awarded as the best ski resort in Finland in the international World Ski Awards country-specific ski resort category. In addition to Levi, Ruka, Pyhä, Salla, Ylläs and Iso-Syöte again sought the award. At the end of the international voting, the winners of the 9th Annual World Ski Awards were announced on January 17th, 2022. For the second year in a row, Levi Ski Resort was awarded the best ski resort in Finland.
- It is great to be once again chosen as the best ski resort in Finland, the fact that this is chosen by customers makes it a great achievement. Satisfied customers are the cornerstone of our operations, and we constantly strive to develop our services and investments based on customer feedback. We will be doing significant investments once again during this year and developing our services in a customer-oriented manner, says Jouni Palosaari, CEO of Levi Ski Resort.
The latest significant investment for the ski resort has been a new service building on the South Slopes of Levi. Ecology and environmental friendliness specifically have been taken into account in the construction. The new service building is called Service Point. Levi Ski Resort's environmental work has received the international ISO14001 environmental system certification in 2018 as the first ski resort in the Nordic countries, and the certificate also provides its own criteria for business development. New, major investments are also planned for this year, which will serve even better both domestic and international customers as well as training groups.
- The goal of Levi Ski Resort is to offer its customers the most unique setting for skiing and snowboarding in Northern Europe. Levi's attractiveness is currently at a record level. Investments in the continuous development of conditions and services from the daily maintenance of slopes and services to the ski resort's major development projects are the cornerstones for creating the ski resort appealing, comments Marko Mustonen, Commercial Director of Levi Ski Resort.
